    How the MP3 Tag Editor works:

    MP3 files can contain metadata known as ID3 tags. These tags can store information such as the song title, artist, album, track number, year, genre, composer, copyright information, and comments.

    The audio portion of the MP3 is not re-encoded. The tool creates a new ID3v2.3 metadata block and attaches it to the original MP3 audio data.
    Note: MP3 metadata can use several ID3 versions and many specialized tag types. This browser tool focuses on common text metadata. Some advanced tags, embedded artwork, custom frames, chapters, lyrics, and application-specific metadata may not be preserved when a new tag is created.
