The industry is changing. It changed from sheet music to radio. Radio to CDs. CD to digital. Now it's in the process of possibly going from big three to indie rise.
ClearChannel/iHeartmedia came in and dominated the radio world. LiveNation is pioneering the live show world. iTunes pioneered the digital distribution world. What. If. I. Pioneered the rise of the indie digital world in terms of marketing?
What if I could mold my business into a power player role? Who’s the leader for digital music marketing right now? There is none. There is no monopoly. There is nothing but clear-cut opportunity. From today’s research, I’ve gathered that labels were/are the main marketing engines that fuel the industry, but since people are finding all these ways to do all these things on their own with tech, all they are missing is the marketing.
Music marketing firms and companies might be getting lost in the big player mix and probably started just forming all-encompassing labels, but what If I could nurture this company to focus solely on marketing in multiple markets and genres? What if I could be the main one that indie artists and even indie labels go to or set a budget aside for?
