Music can be taught to kids at a very, very young age. They soak up the knowledge like little sponges. Toddlers from the ages of 1-3 can learn very basic concepts of singing and music theory that will help their developmental brain learn concepts like walking and communication. If you're looking for a great book that your toddler will enjoy, you've come to the right place! I've listed a few books below that will be great for 1-year olds, 2-year olds, and 3-year olds that can greatly benefit from learning the magic of music.

Ditty Bird has a few baby sound books that are very appropriate for 1-year-olds. The key here is that you want to start very small and simple with interactive songs that they will love in the nursery rhyme style. At this stage, you want to encourage a small positive response by pushing the buttons that will then play music, like the trademark adorable baby bouncing that we love to see the little ones do!
Cali has a very fun Reggae book that is surprisingly geared towards one and two-year-olds. Ready to get your child in tune with their rhythm from a very early age? Here's your chance! Cali's "Bedtime with Mozart" will actually work for kids 1-4, but I thought age 2 would be a good sweet spot to put this on in my book list. It's a great way to introduce your little one to classical music in little bedtime sessions one night at a time. The only thing about this book is that the songs should be longer for the adults to fully enjoy as well!
Here's another fun book that is great for ages 1-3. The Music Rhymes Book can be a bit more appealing to kids since it's full of color and appealing art on top of the great music it provides your toddler with. This one also introduces instrument designs and music vocabulary to get your child familiar with the piano, drums, guitar, and more.
At the age of 3, your toddler will be ready to learn basic instrument concepts and written musical notes on sheet music. It might sound like too much, but that's what makes this book so great! It packs a lot of knowledge into a small flipbook that kids 3 and up will be able to learn a ton from with your guidance. This book has won a ton of awards for how well it introduces multiple concepts to young minds in a way they can digest and thoroughly enjoy.
