Where To Get A Music Logo - 5 Ideas For Musicians

Musician Logos

When it comes to your logo, you want to make sure you put the right amount of time and thought into the final product. You will want a logo that can catch someone's eye and encompass the vision for your music brand as well.

Getting a logo for your brand as a musician or company in the music world can be a critical way to gain exposure and have more success in your advertising and marketing journey.

There are a variety of different ways to get a really high-quality logo for your music career. Many of the available options are affordable, and two of the recommendations I'll make are completely free if you don't have a budget for your company yet!

Do note that the less money you spend on the process, the more you will need to get involved in the creative part and set aside time to work toward finalizing a great logo.

Check out my five suggestions below for getting a logo done that you can be proud of!

Use An Affordable DIY Service

Many companies available have a logo maker built into their platform. Many of these services charge a small fee for you to choose from thousands of design elements to create a unique logo of your own.

One company that I recommend for this type of service is BrandCrowd. They also have a small selection of free logos available for use.

Choose From Reputable Design Companies

If you are looking for very high-quality work, you should consider hiring an individual professional designer or team of designers to work on your musician logo.

While many freelancers can provide you with really top-notch work, larger companies can provide you with unmatched quality since they often provide you with several different custom logo ideas for you to choose from based on your vision.

Some people find that it takes a while to find good freelancers on sites like Fiverr and Upwork.

Still, I've personally found that freelancers in the logo design niche are really some of the best in comparison to other creative niches. If you want to go big, I recommend a company like 99Designs or Logura.

Create Your Own Logo With Photo Editors

Suppose you have a knack for design creativity yourself. In that case, you can let your design ideas go wild with royalty-free images available on sites like Unsplash and Pexels paired with a free photo editor tool like Befunky.

You will obviously need to do all the work with this option, but you would be surprised how much musicians often have a talent for visual artistry as well.

This is a great option for musicians at the beginning stage of their brand marketing and who just need something simple to start with as they grow in their careers.

Use A Free Logo Generator

Similar to a DIY service that will cost a small fee, you can go with a completely free logo creation tool if you are just starting out and low on funds.

Your design options will be a bit limited with this option, as you can expect, but again, if you have a creative eye and a decent tool like FreeLogoDesign.

Do note that services like these often want you to at least sign up for their site/newsletter in exchange for using their free services.

Hire A Freelancer

Hiring a freelancer to create a logo for you can be a surprisingly affordable and quick process to go through as a musician.

Many freelancers across the globe can provide you with high-quality design services for a fraction of the cost that an entire company would charge you.

Use a site like Fiverr to browse through high-rated designers and look for a designer that is particularly skilled with logos in the music industry.
